Little Lincoln

There are few thing in my life that have surprised me as much as how much I love my nieces and nephews.

And the newest edition to my nieces and nephew is a super cutie!

I ran over to the hospital, camera in hand, so he can start getting use to his Auntie's papparazzi:) 

Not only is he cute, but he also hit the parent jack pot...

cuz these two are gonna be phenomenal parents!

Baby Briar

So, when I had Enoch, my amazing friend Rhonda offered to come to birth photos, buuuuut he came waaaay to fast, so instead she came and took photos when my other kids came to hospital to meet him.  And I LOVE them! (see them here) . Despite me just having given birth and donning a lovely hospital gown, there are my favourite photos of our family ever,  just because she caught all the little interactions. 

So on Sunday afternoon when I found out my friend Melissa had her baby, I immediately texted her and asked if I could come and do a similar shoot for their family.

I've one quick family photos for them before and they're all so dang photogetic! That combined with great light coming in the big hospital windows, I coulda stayed there all day! I'm thrilled for them to have little Briar joining their family and I'm so grateful I got to be there to capture just a smidgin of all the love. The Maret's are such a fantastic family-- so much fun and togetherness, along with such a strong sense of loyal and devotion. Briar--you are one lucky girl!
